Sneak Peek!! Book 5: The Light of Daijun

As book 5 draws ever closer, I have decided that I will post a small teaser of the first part of the book right here, right now! So if you don't want to read any of the 5th book until it is released, read no further!! But if you have that strange naggling feeling in your head saying: "Goddamnit, I wanna know what happens! Bring out book 5!!!" then just look below. And prepare, once again, to be thrown, if momentarily, into the world of the 'a gang'.

Book 5 sneak peek: The Light of Daijun

As Alex W and Dan D, in year 5 at this moment in time (we won’t call them that all the way through the story) walked towards the playground, they saw Rob, quite a medium sized boy with a pointy head- almost like a rugby ball. And yes, they just saw him; he isn’t actually anything to do with this story at all. As they killed the ants climbing up the tree, Alex moaned “I’m so bored, I could just cry!”

Dan retorted, “Go ahead, nobody’s stopping you.”

Alex gave him an unimpressed look. “I really don’t find that funny, Dan. What I do find funny however-” he paused and sat on the ground “-is acting like a dog!”

Dan chuckled and frollocked around a little, before coming to a halt and realizing with horror what he’d just done.

“Jesus, I’m getting crazier every day… and to think I’m acting like this after all that’s happened- what with Alex and that…”

Alex bowed his head and stood up again. “Come on, Dan. There’s nothing we can do about it now…”

Dan looked up. One of the dinner ladies came running towards them shrieking. ”There’s been a crime, I tells ya, a crime!”

“A what?!” Alex exclaimed.

“A crime! Don’t go near it! It’s just over by the steps!”

And with that, they quickly headed over to the steps...

The Jaws of Dominion new trailer (of course, ripped!)

Yes, it's a ripped off Jaws of Dominion trailer!!!! But not all of it is a Jaws of Dominion trailer, so DON'T WATCH IT ALL!!! Only watch part 4.47-5.45. The rest of it is completely irrevelant, and notice that the spater (you'll know which one it is) has a releatively human face. This is INCORRECT!!!! You know a spater's face is mangled and deformed, really. So everything from 4.47-5.45 is a Jaws of Dominion trailer, but the spater's face, That should be deformed. Enjoy, if you watch it properly, I think it's the best one yet!! (Even though I didn't make it... cough cough!)

Confirmed Release Dates!!!!

At long last, Dan has finally managed to send me book 5, and so editing will be underway tomorrow! Right on schedule, too. I'm sure you will know, this book is scheduled for release quite soon, so I am very glad that this has finally happened. Below you will find the updated release dates:

Book 5: The Light of Daijun/The Charlous Diearies--- early October '08
Book 6: The Jaws of Dominion--- December 11th '08

Damn, my computer's contracted a virus that calls itself 'antivirus 2008'- look it up, it's a fake antivirus thing that hacks into your computer and changes stuff. However, I luckily haven't got the full version. All that happens is a pop-up balloon keeps saying there's a security alert, when there isn't one. That's literally it. It pops up every few seconds though and is VERY annoying. So I didn't do any on Book 6 yesterday. I promise I will do some today though, in fact I'll get onto it now. Wish me luck!!!

A break now over

4 days ago I took a break from Book 6 to write a small 1,000 word story completely separate from The Dissolution of Daijun. It was a competition run by Microsoft, and the top prize is a laptop with office 2007 and a trip to Verona for 4 with 300 pounds spending money. A pretty good prize then! I believe my story (about a young boy who likes torturing insects who meets a fairy who tells him about the 'wonders of nature') has hopefully some chance of winning. I'm hoping anyway!!
So I'll be continuing with Book 6 tonight, and I can tell you this, due to some unexpected plot twists, it's going to be hard to get it finished for November, so it could very well be delayed until December of this year. Sorry, but I'm not going to rush it!

ATTENTION!
Before you play the song, you must picture the scene in your head: It is 2 years after Adam, James, and Bond have sacrificed their lives for the greater good. Charlous has been defeated, but the experience has left the remaning 6 knights scarred for life. Alex is strolling back from school and a leaf falls into his open palm. He smiles as a squirrel collects a stray nut for the winter and finally realises he must not forget about his past experiences, as he had once tried to do, but he must learn from them. Because he knows, even now that Charlous is defeated, that life will never be the same again- sad and scarred as he may be, his destiny must pull him on.


The video may hint on later books as well.

Character Profile 13: Karl Franks (cameo)

Age: He was 12 when he died
Books Featured in: The End of The World, The Extended Young Never Knights Chronicles. Please note- these are only cameo appearances, as indicated up top.
Occupation: ...
Description: A slightly insane nerd who was forced by the spaters to attract the attention of the gang as the final battle was about to begin. He had brown hair and glasses, with a freaky smile.
Power: He has no powers or magical ability
Death: While distracting the gang, he was apparently shot by one of Charlous' 'energy balls' as he tried to tell them about the spaters. He consequently died of blood loss and broken bones not long after.

Further books?

Okay, I can officially confirm that if The Jaws of Dominion proves to be as successful as I'm hoping it to be, there will be a series of spin-offs. I cannot confirm whether James Cullen really will be the main character in these books, but I can confirm that there will at least be 3 books in this series if the first is successful. You heard it here first. But I don't want to rush you, book 6 is still a couple of months off, maybe more (I am giving it a small rest to get started on another very small project more on that later).
